How do we plan the budget?

First, make a list of all the elements of your event -- flowers, decor, food, drink, entertainment, party planner, transportation, costumes or wedding garments, etc.  Then rate those elements in order of importance to you, the host.  This list will help to determine how we spend the budget.

For family or corporate events, Adagio pricing is set individually according to the needs of the event.  For weddings it's a little easier.

Most wedding planners charge by the hour or by a percentage according to your budget.  If the hours or the budget goes up, so does their price.  Some also get referral fees from vendors for the booking.  Nothing wrong with that - but at Adagio it's different.

Adagio has three flat-rate wedding packages plus staffing and added services as needed.     All packages include "last 30 days" services -- with a full briefing for vendors, itinerary, rehearsal, day-of coordination, and the Adagio Packing Party!  (Day-of coordination is available, but is not recommended.  As one coordinator said, "It's like throwing a cat in a blender!")

Rather than taking a referral fee, Adagio asks its vendors to offer discounts to referred clients.  Many times the combined discounts easily cover the costs of an Adagio package.  Who said you couldn't afford a wedding coordinator?!
